Alistair Black, P.Eng., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kerry Rudd, P.Eng. as President of the Associated Engineering group of companies. This promotion is part of our succession management plan. Vince Borch, P.Eng., retired as Chairman of the Board of Associated Engineering in May 2005, at which time Alistair became Chairman and CEO of Associated Engineering.

"We have created a strong company with an optimistic future,” Alistair states. "I wish to thank all our staff for their continued enthusiasm and support. It is vital to our success. I also wish to thank Vince for his leadership, counsel, and many contributions to our company. We wish Vince and his wife, Carol, a long and healthy retirement.”

Currently Vice President and General Manager of our B.C. operations, Kerry is a Senior Civil Engineer with 28 years of experience on infrastructure projects in Canada and overseas. In his new role, Kerry will focus on our core consulting engineering business.

"Under Alistair’s leadership, we have enjoyed unprecedented success, and have grown to almost 500 staff in 12 offices across Canada,” Kerry observes. "I am honoured to be able to follow in his footsteps.”

"I look forward to working with our staff across the company, and to meeting our clients and partners in Canada and overseas. My priority will be to uphold our culture and values: stability and employee-ownership, and commitment to quality, clients, and our staff. Our success has been built upon our culture and these values. We will continue to focus on providing value and service to our clients and maintaining the strong relationships that we have established over the years.”
