Amrita Banerjee, M.S., P.E.(California), P.Eng. has joined our Burnaby office as a Transportation Project Engineer. She has 10 years experience in design and project management on transportation and infrastructure projects. She has worked on projects in the public and private sectors in Canada, the United States, and India. Prior to joining Associated Engineering, Amrita spent three years with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) as a project engineer.

Ian Phiri has joined our Calgary office as a Mechanical Engineer. Specializing in HVAC, piping, and pumping systems, Ian's experience also includes certification in nuclear engineering, which he gained while working at the Koeberg Nuclear Power Plant as a piping engineer and stress analyst. Ian has worked for consultants in designing HVAC systems, and for contractors in designing and constructing water and wastewater treatment plants.

Dean Maruyama, P. Eng. has joined our Lethbridge office as a Senior Municipal Engineer. Dean has 28 years of experience in municipal consulting engineering in southern Alberta. He has been involved with various municipal projects such as land development, stormwater management, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, roadworks, pump stations, and water pipeline networks.

Derrick Tannahill, P.Eng. has joined our Lethbridge office as a Project Manager. Derrick has five years experience managing transportation design and construction projects. He is actively involved with APEGGA, TAC, and the AE Young Professionals Group.

Monique Kealey, P.Eng. has joined our Regina office as a Project Manager and Senior Transportation Engineer. She has 20 years experience specializing in transportation planning and traffic engineering. Monique also brings expertise in roadways engineering and bikeway systems, as well as policy, planning and strategic public communications. Monique will lead our transportation planning efforts in Saskatchewan and provide transportation planning expertise on projects across Canada.

Mark Polischuk has joined our Saskatoon office as a Transportation Engineer. Mark has over five years experience in highway geometric design, project management, and construction survey processing with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). He also has experience with CAiCE earthwork modelling, roadway design standards, and design preparation.

Tony Barton, M.Sc., M.I.C.E., P.Eng. has joined our Toronto office as the Manager of our Infrastructure and Transportation group. He has 35 years experience in municipal engineering, water resources, transportation, solid waste management, mining, and civil engineering on projects for both public sector and private clients. Tony brings expertise from commercial, industrial, and residential projects across Canada.

Mike Pearce, M.Sc., P.Eng. has joined our Toronto office as a Senior Project Engineer. Mike specializes in water and wastewater treatment and stormwater management. His experience encompasses multi-discipline project execution, computerized information management, design, and CAD systems. Mike has over 21 years of consulting engineering experience in design, permitting, construction and operation of municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment systems.

Rob Cochrane, P.Eng. has joined our Toronto office as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer. Rob specializes in infrastructure and transportation projects. He has extensive experience in design, project management, and contract administration of municipal infrastructure and servicing projects, as well as construction of transportation, automotive, aviation, commercial, industrial, and railway developments.

David Watt, C.E.T., O.L.S., O.L.I.P. has joined our St. Catharines office as a Senior GIS/Asset Management Specialist. He has over 20 years experience in asset and infrastructure management, and capital and pollution control planning in municipal government and consultant roles. His experience includes municipal operations, applied GIS and data management, advanced asset data collections and analysis techniques, and pavement management.
