Merry Christmas to All

As 2007 draws to a close, we have much to be thankful for. We have enjoyed a busy and successful year, and experienced significant growth in all our operations.

One of the important initiatives under our Strategic Plan was to conduct an Employee Survey. Our staff told us that they have a very high level of satisfaction and pride in working at Associated Engineering and identified where they thought the company can improve. We are working hard to make improvements so that we can continue to retain, attract, and develop the best people.

Associated Engineering continues to invest in the communities in which we live and work. Our staff have embraced this goal. Thank you to all of our staff for your efforts on charitable and community events such as the United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and Adopt a Highway.

In 2007, Associated Engineering was recognized through the receipt of several awards, both for engineering excellence and for being one of the leading employers. Our design of the City of Hamilton?s Central Composting Facility was recognized as the Professional Engineers of Ontario?s Project of the Year and received the Canadian Construction Association 2007 Environmental Achievement Award. In addition, the Gold Bar Wastewater Treatment Plant Water Reuse Facility in Edmonton received the GE Water and Process Technologies 2007 Global Ecomagination Leadership Award. Associated Engineering was also recognized as one of the Top 35 Employers in Alberta, and received the Region of Niagara?s Healthy Workplace Award for our Wellness Program. These awards are a tribute to all our staff for their creativity and innovation, as well as for the energy and passion that they bring to make Associated Engineering a great place to work and an employer of choice.

To our many clients, thank you for choosing Associated Engineering as your preferred consultant. Thanks also to our staff for your hard work and the commitment that you put into your projects, our communities, and the company. To all clients, staff, and the extended Associated Engineering family, please accept our wishes for a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
