Doug Marsh, P.Eng. has joined our Saskatoon office as a Senior Bridge Engineer. Doug has 20 years of bridge engineering experience including concrete, steel, and timber structures, as well as corrugated steel pipe structures. He also has diverse experience in transportation, water resources, buildings, and heavy civil works engineering and project management.

Paul Pinder, P.Eng. has joined our Saskatoon office as a Project Manager and Senior Transportation Engineer. Paul has 20 years experience focussing on transportation engineering. He has completed all aspects of highway design and construction including functional planning studies, detailed location reports, geometric designs, grading, and surfacing construction. He also has experience in project management including coordinating IT projects, software implementation, and numerous highway design and construction projects.

Daryl Brown, P.Eng. has returned to Associated Engineering. Daryl joins our Regina office as a Senior Civil Engineer. He has 18 years experience in design, construction, and project management. His experience includes stormwater management, water supply and treatment, earthworks, and municipal infrastructure projects.

Rod Maclean, M.Sc., P.Eng. has joined our Kelowna office as a Project Manager. Rod has 18 years experience specializing in the design and construction of municipal and agricultural projects, including irrigation, water supply, pipelines, pump stations, dams, and reservoirs. He also brings expertise in dam safety and emergency preparedness.

Don Daigneault, CET has returned to our Kelowna office as a Senior Project Technologist. Don has 12 years experience in survey, construction, and infrastructure engineering for municipal projects. His experience includes design and construction of roads, bridges, sewers, watermain, pump stations, utilities, and residential and commercial subdivisions.

David Harvey, President of IStructE, presents George De Ridder with Fellow certificate from IStructE

George De Ridder, M.S., P.Eng., FIStructE, Civil Structural Discipline Leader in our Burnaby office, has been named a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers (FIStructE). The grade of Fellow is the highest membership in IStructE. IStructE grants the honour of Fellow to structural engineers who have demonstrated excellence in structural engineering and made contributions to the engineering profession. George has 35 years experience in structural engineering in Canada and South Africa. A specialist in the design of heavy civil structures, George is a recognized expert in the design of hardened and explosion blast resistant structures for industrial, security, electrical, military, and nuclear facilities.
