Andrew Christopher has joined our Edmonton office as Development Manager - Asset Management. Andrew has proven success in software development and project management for Geographic Information
Systems, Interactive Voice Response Emergency Notification, Public Web Mapping, Demographic solutions and Automated Vehicle Location (AVL) projects. Andrew is a key member of our national team that is steering the development of our Asset Management practice.
Mario Mendoza, P.Eng. has joined our Edmonton office as a Building Mechanical Engineer. Mario has over ten years experience in building mechanical systems and has also carried out energy audits and modeling projects to improve building energy efficiency. As well, Mario’s experience includes feasibility analysis in alternative configurations of cogeneration plants, and energy and mass balances for cement plants.
Congratulations to Saqib Khan and Sayed Soleimani on attaining their Professional
Engineering (P.E.) status in the United States.
Saqib Khan, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., P.E. is a structural engineer in our Burnaby office with seven years of experience in both the private and public sectors. Saqib has worked on major bridge projects in BC, such as the Knight Street Bridge in Vancouver, the Lake City and Port Moody Overheads in Burnaby, the Second Narrows Bridge in Vancouver, the new Pitt River Bridge, and the Cassiar Tunnel in Vancouver.
Sayed M. Soleimani, Ph.D., P.Eng., P.E. is a structural engineer in our Burnaby office with more than ten years of experience. Prior to joining Associated Engineering in 2006, he achieved extensive experience in design, construction supervision, and project management of large-scale projects such as hospitals, a white-cement plant, and concrete water reservoirs and dams in Iran. Recently, Sayed participated in the design of the new Pitt River Bridge.
Bert Munro awarded AWWA’s Fuller Award and WEF’s 5S Award
Bert Munro, P.Eng., Vice President & General Manager of Associated Engineering’s
Saskatchewan operation, recently
received the George Warren Fuller Award.
This award is presented annually by the
American Water Works Association
(AWWA) to selected members for their
distinguished service in the water supply
field in commemoration of the sound engineering
skill, the brilliant diplomatic talent,
and the constructive leadership which
characterized the life of George Warren
Fuller.
In addition to receiving the George Fuller
Award, Bert also received the Water
Environment Federation’s 5S (Select
Society of Sanitary Sludge Shovelers)
award in recognition of his volunteer
efforts in the wastewater industry.
Congratulations on these well deserved
awards, Bert!
