In Memory of Mark Wilson and Shawn Berg

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of two of our staff, Mark Wilson and Shawn Berg, in a motor vehicle accident on Monday, July 6, 2009. The vehicle that the two young men were travelling in collided with a semi-trailer as they were returning from work Monday evening. Both Mark and Shawn were based in our Saskatoon office.

Mark Wilson graduated with a degree in civil engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 2005. He joined our Transportation group in Saskatoon in June 2008, and quickly gained the respect of his colleagues for his quiet, genuine, and friendly demeanour. Mark recently received his license as a Professional Engineer

Shawn Berg joined our Saskatoon office in May as a co-op student. Shawn studied environmental engineering at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science Technology in Moose Jaw. While he was only with the company a short time, his love of life was obvious from his energy and sense of humour. Shawn's potential as an engineer was clear from his enthusiasm and his commitment to his work.

Friends, colleagues, and the Company will establish a memorial to Mark and Shawn close to the Saskatoon office.

Our condolences and deepest sympathies go to the families of Mark and Shawn.
