Steve CroxfordSteve Croxford, P.Eng., has returned to Burnaby from our Edmonton office to tackle new challenges and opportunities as project manager for water and wastewater projects. Steve is a Structural Engineer with 27 years experience in project management and design of water and wastewater treatment plants. Steve is currently working on the Iona Wastewater Treatment Plant secondary treatment upgrade planning project .

James ThomasJames Thomas, B.Sc., has joined our Burnaby office as a Structural Engineer. Originally from Australia, James has 10 years experience as a Structural Design Engineer, responsible for concept, preliminary design and analysis, refined analysis and detailed design, management of documentation production and verification of design and documentation. James is currently working on the Port Mann/Highway 1 upgrade project in Vancouver.

Dalal HannoCongratulations to Dalal Hanno, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., PMP, of our Burnaby office on receiving her Project Management Professional (PMP) Accreditation. Dalal is a senior Transportation Engineer with over 20 years experience in research, highway planning, and design.

Clarissa BrennanClarissa Brennan, A.Sc.T., of our Burnaby office has been selected by the ASTTBC Nominating Committee to serve on the 2009 - 2010 ASTTBC Council. Clarissa is a mechanical technologist with experience in the design and construction of municipal facilities such as wastewater treatment plants and pump stations. The Council is the governing body for the ASTTBC and makes policy decisions in accordance with the ASTT Act, Regulations and Bylaws.

Matt HenneyMatt Henney, P.Eng. has been appointed to the Manufacturers/Associates Council (MAC) of the AWWA. The MAC represents the service providers of the AWWA membership including manufacturers (their distributors/representatives), contractors, and consultants. Part of MAC's mission is to promote involvement and participation of service providers in AWWA, develop programs and activities for service providers, and provide policy input on matters affecting Manufacturers/Associates Members. Matt is Practice Leader for Water in our Burnaby office.

Quinn CrosinaQuinn Crosina, M.A.Sc., EIT has been appointed to the Water Treatment Plant Residuals Management Committee under the Water Quality & Technology Division of AWWA. The mission of this committee is to study and report on water treatment plant residuals management practices and regulations. Quinn is an Environmental Engineer in our Burnaby office. Currently, Quinn is involved in a variety of water treatment projects for the Capital Region District, the Regional District of Okanagan - Similkameen, and the Nisga'a Village of Gitwinksihlkw.

of the Regina office was presented with an Award of Merit from the Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologist and Technicians (SASTT). The Award of Merit is presented to individuals who have distinguished themselves in the service of the Association on a voluntary, salaried or elective basis.
