On the Move

2009

Leonard Occhiogrosso, B.A., has joined our Toronto office as a Senior Transit Planner. Leonard has over 27 years experience in transit planning with the Toronto Transit Commission, Mississauga Transit, Guelph Transit, and as a consultant. Leonard has proven experience in all aspects of transit and transportation planning. He has been a member of various accessibility committees and is very knowledgeable in the Canadian and Ontario Disability Acts. He is also very familiar with automated transit scheduling and crewing software, fare and smart card technologies, as well as other smart bus ITS technologies. Leonard will lead the transit practice in Ontario.

Andrew Christopher has joined our Edmonton office as Development Manager - Asset Management. Andrew has proven success in software development and project management for Geographic Information Systems, Interactive Voice Response Emergency Notification, Public Web Mapping, Demographic solutions and Automated Vehicle Location (AVL) projects. Andrew is a key member of our national team that is steering the development of our Asset Management practice.

2008

Tony Barton, M.Sc., M.I.C.E., P.Eng. has joined our Toronto office as the Manager of our Infrastructure and Transportation group.  He has 35-years experience in municipal engineering, water resources, transportation, solid waste management, mining and civil engineering on projects for both public sector and private clients.  Tony brings expertise from commercial, industrial and residential projects across Canada. 

Mike Pearce, M.Sc., P.Eng. has joined our Toronto office as a Senior Project Engineer.  Mike specializes in water and wastewater treatment and storm water management.  His experience encompasses multi-discipline project execution, computerized information management, design, and CAD systems.  Mike has over 21 years of consulting engineering experience in design, permitting, construction and operation of municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment systems.

Rob Cochrane, P.Eng. has joined our Toronto office as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer.  Rob specializes in infrastructure and transportation projects.  He has extensive experience in design, project management and contract administration of municipal infrastructure and servicing projects, as well as construction of transportation, automotive, aviation, commercial, industrial and railway developments.

David R. Watt, C.E.T., O.L.S., O.L.I.P. has joined our St. Catharines office as a Senior GIS/Asset Management Specialist.  He has over 20 years experience in asset and infrastructure management, and capital and pollution control planning in municipal government and consultant roles.  His experience includes municipal operations, applied GIS and data management, advanced asset data collections and analysis techniques, and pavement management.

Monique Kealey, P.Eng. has joined our Regina office as a Project Manager and Senior Transportation Engineer.  She has 20 years experience specializing in transportation planning and traffic engineering.  Monique also brings expertise in roadways engineering and bikeway systems, as well as policy, planning and strategic public communications.  Monique will lead our transportation planning efforts in Saskatchewan and provide transportation planning expertise on projects across Canada.
