Asset Management

Population growth and public demands for an increasing level of service place pressure on our existing infrastructure—infrastructure which is beginning to show the signs of its age. Together, the replacement value of our municipal infrastructure amounts to millions of dollars for small communities and billions of dollars for large urban centres. Effective management of our existing infrastructure will help to optimize its remaining life expectancy.

Associated Engineering works with communities to prepare infrastructure master plans, asset inventories, condition surveys, assessments, and upgrade and rehabilitation plans. Asset management helps communities to manage, maintain, and upgrade existing infrastructure, potentially delaying costly replacement, and to plan and prioritize future infrastructure upgrades.
