Structural Engineer (Senior) [Full Time]

An employee-owned, Canadian company, Associated Engineering provides a broad base of consulting engineering services in the infrastructure, water, transportation, environmental, building, energy, and asset management sectors.

Position

We are currently searching for a Structural Engineer (Senior) in our Calgary office.

The successful candidate will participate in the design of facilities and heavy civil structures, and be responsible for preparing designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents. You will also participate in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, business development, and preparation of proposals.

Requirements

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Eligibility for professional licensing with APEGGA
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering
  • Experience in design, specifications, scheduling, cost estimating, tendering, construction, and inspections
  • Proven technical skills
  • Project management skills are an asset
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Committed team player.
