Water Resources Engineer [Full Time]

An employee-owned, Canadian company, Associated Engineering provides a broad base of consulting engineering services in the infrastructure, water, transportation, environmental, building, energy, and asset management sectors.

Position

We are currently searching for a Water Resources Engineer in our Edmonton office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing water resources projects including, but not limited to, storm water management, wastewater collection, water distribution, hydraulic structures, flood control, irrigation systems, and river engineering.

You will join a dynamic team active on civil, municipal, and industrial engineering projects for a variety of public and private sector clients.

Requirements

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in water resources project design, engineering, and management
  • Licensed with APEGA
  • Experience/knowledge in water management software such as PC SWMM and XP SWMM
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Availability to travel in central and northern Alberta
  • Committed team player and highly self-motivated.
