The Keswick Water Treatment Plant Upgrades
project has won the Ontario Public Works Association Project of the Year
, in the Environmental ($2-$10 million) category. The Regional Municipality of York retained Associated Engineering to provide preliminary and detailed design, contract administration, and site inspection services for this project. The project was a high priority to restore the plant’s rated capacity, introduce treatment and energy efficiencies, and add service life to the 16.2 million litres per day water treatment plant.
