For the eleventh consecutive year, Associated Engineering has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, retaining Platinum Club status. For 26 years, the Best Managed Companies designation has been a preeminent mark of Canadian business excellence, celebrating companies that have developed clear strategies, demonstrated corporate strengths, excel in the marketplace, retain top talent, and manage business risks.
Every year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the caliber of their management abilities and practices. Applicants are evaluated by an independent judging panel comprised of representatives from program sponsors in addition to special guest judges.
This past year, Associated Engineering launched a new strategic plan, acquired a firm specializing in ice engineering and disaster planning and recover, opened new offices in Kamloops and Grande Prairie, expanded our staff expertise in climate science and modelling, deployed a new recruitment and onboarding software tool, and received several awards and recognition from industry organizations for projects and individual staff members.
“This award would not be possible without our staff. Their commitment, dedication, input, support, volunteerism, and combined efforts are what has made us a Best Managed Company for the past 11 years, and a leader amongst consulting firms,” says Martin Jobke, President.
Winners of the Canada’s Best Managed Companies award will be honoured at the annual Canada’s Best Managed Companies gala in Toronto in April.
