Dean Shiskowski, Vice President of Water Resource Recovery, is a member of an international panel discussion tomorrow titled "Making the Case for Resource Recovery in Canada" at the 2019 Blue Cities conference hosted by the Canadian Water Network.
Bio: Dean provides technical expertise and project, staff development and business development support across all of Associated Engineering's subsidiaries. He is a member of Associated Engineering’s corporate climate change task force and climate change advisory group, and for five years chaired its carbon neutral committee. Dean is a member of the Water Environment Federation’s municipal water resource recovery design committee. He participated in WEF’s technical practice update on protocols for measuring and estimating greenhouse gas emissions from wastewater sources and the development of Standard Sustainability Reporting Statements for Wastewater Systems manual. Dean is also an Adjunct Professor of civil engineering at the University of British Columbia and leads the firm’s wastewater-related research programs.
