
The Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia conducted their 2019/2020 Council election from September 4 to October 4, 2019. The final results were announced this past Friday afternoon.
In a tightly contested race for President for the upcoming year, Associated Engineering's Vice President of Business Development, Lianna Mah, received 51.5% of the votes. Campaigning on a platform seeking to improve the governance of the engineering and geoscience professions, increase diversity, and raise member engagement, Lianna is highly focused on the issues facing the association at this important time in its history.
