We have just concluded our two-day Capacity Building Seminar focused on Resilience – How to plan buildings and communities with resilience in mind. The event showcased our staff from across the country, discussing a variety of topics such as alternative energy, HVAC retrofits for COVID-19, mass timber and building prefabrication, energy audits and energy modelling. Presentations and panel discussions also reviewed design methods and challenges, climate change considerations and the valuable lessons learned.
We would like to express our deep appreciation to our staff who helped make this event possible. The following individuals in our buildings and structural practices worked tirelessly over the past months, weeks, and days in planning and delivering this important seminar. Several of the individuals also served in multiple roles, including as moderators and session facilitators.
