Adaptation Resilience Training is now accepting applications

ART logo

Recent extreme weather events around the world have demonstrated that our climate is changing. As engineers, scientists, and planners, we all need to consider the effects of climate change in the way we deliver our projects. Over the past few years, Associated Engineering has gained significant experience in designing sustainable buildings and other infrastructure, conducting climate change vulnerability assessments, and planning and designing infrastructure to adapt to our changing climate.

Are you a recent graduate looking for an opportunity in climate change adaptation?
Associated Engineering is working with Alberta Environment and Parks to develop the Adaptation Resilience Training (ART) program. The intent of this program is to help professionals working in Alberta to develop a basic awareness of climate change adaptation and build capacity to integrate adaptation into their professional practice. Another part of the program is aimed at helping young professionals get connected with professional organizations.
If you are interested in developing your skills and gaining practical experience in this important field, apply for an 8-month paid internship today!
