We are currently searching for a Building Mechanical Engineer (Junior) in our Edmonton office to join a dynamic buildings engineering team active on government, institutional, and private sector projects.  

how you'll contribute to our company

You will receive ‘on-the-job’ training through regular preparation of plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates for conventional building engineering assignments. You will perform tasks in accordance with established building codes, standards, drawings, or other specifications. With direction, you will take part in conducting routine field reviews, building surveywork, and writing reports.   

what you will bring to the table

You should have the following qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Eligibility for professional registration with APEGA
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with building HVAC design
  • CAD and Revit experience
  • Ability to problem solve and demonstrate innovative thinking
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Committed team player
