Focusing on watershed health and environmental values in the Township of Langley, and completing a comprehensive Integrated Stormwater Management Plan assessment for the City of Surrey, AE worked with the municipalities on a plan for their stormwater. The ISMP also includes working with stakeholders to develop a vision for the future development in the watershed.
Teck Resources Limited is expanding its coal mines at Fording River and Greenhills, and is planning a new mine near it's Coal Mountain facilities. Associated Environmental is leading key elements of the vegetation, soil, and biodiversity assessments required for Mines Act permits at the three mines. Baseline assessments require a mix of Geographic Information System (GIS)-based data compilation and analysis, field calibration, and quantitative modelling, which form the basis for subsequent impact assessment and mine reclamation planning.
Assocated provided project management services to the Government of Northwest Territories to completed this $xx million, design-build proejct. Our environmental services specific to federal and territorial approvals and authorizations included review of annual monitoring reports and Environmental Construction Operations Plan, liaison with regulators, development of spill response and deck drainage plans, fish compensation, wildlife management plans, and habitat compensation plans.
Associated Environmental is leading the environmental program for the Regina Bypass, the largest capital project in the Government of Saskatchewan's history. Components include the Environmental Protection Plan and the environmental portion of the Integrated Management System .
