During the 2016 Fort McMurray Wildfire, we provided technical support to the Water Treatment Plant operators to ensure the supply of firefighting water and helped execute the Water System Recovery Plan for disinfecting and flushing the water system to provide safe drinking water.
Detailed structural inspections were carried out for all streetlights and poles deemed to be in poor condition. Information collected from the inspection, along with base asset information, was then used for risk assessment and prioritization and to develop an inspection and replacement program.
