The City of Coquitlam retained Associated Engineering to complete a Transportation Planning and Functional Design assignment for the Burquitlam-Lougheed Neighbourhood Greenways located in the southwest part of the City.
Development of this and other key greenway corridors will provide enhanced multi-modal linkages throughout the City and ultimately support the City’s broad goals and objectives related to environmental, economic, and social sustainability.
Greenways are on-street and off-street facilities that support walking, cycling and other non-motorized modes of transportation for recreational and commuting purposes. This assignment is part of the City’s effort to develop greenway design standards to ensure consistency throughout the City and support the City’s Subdivision and Development Services Bylaw.
