Bridge Assessments & Analysis

Associated Engineering brings specialist capabilities in condition assessments, inspections, load rating analysis, structural monitoring, and load testing of structures of all types, including cable bridges, trusses, arches, girders, steel, concrete, timber, and temporary bridges. Our specialists use finite element models to maximize the assessed capacity of structures. We have developed software tools for clients to allow rapid screening of bridges and routes to determine load capacity and geometry constraints.

Where load testing is beneficial, we work with clients to develop safe and practical test procedures, and monitor the testing and the structures’ behaviour before, during and after testing. From our assessments and analysis, we provide recommendations to clients for safe vehicle passage, including operating conditions, as well as any measures indicated to meet the desired vehicle load or geometric requirements.
