ON CAREER GROWTH
Working at Associated is a career, not a job. We invest in our people, providing training, mentoring, and career planning. Associated has a culture that inspires staff to develop their careers.
We work with engineers a lot on highways, bridges, airports, and infrastructure. Many of our projects have environmental considerations and the regulatory environment requires studies and consultation. Our culture fosters teamwork and supports all team members. In the North, we have small local teams, but we can do larger projects because we have all the technical specialists in-house. Everyone is always keen to get involved and support projects that we do.
ON WORK/LIFE BALANCE
Associated treats staff like family. My hometown is Vernon and I’ve raised my family here. But I have a real pull for the North. The projects are fascinating. The logistics are challenging and takes unique skill sets to get our work done. The people and the environment is what inspires me to work there. I have local teams and travel often, which provides a great balance.
