Regulatory Authorizations

Navigating the challenges of environmental permits and authorizations, Associated assists our clients to complete their projects in a timely, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible manner.  Our combination of strong regulatory knowledge, practical experience, and relationships with government staff enables us to provide sound advice and minimize delays.

Associated’s regulatory expertise includes federal (e.g. Fisheries Act, Species at Risk Act, Canadian Environmental Assessment Act), provincial (e.g. water, waste discharge and contaminated sites regulations), and local (e.g. riparian set-back) statutes.  We also assist clients to develop regulatory compliance programs for specific construction projects or as part of a comprehensive Environmental Management System.
