SGL Planning and Design Inc. retained Associated Engineering to provide transportation and site servicing review and recommendations for the North West Welland Secondary Plan in the City of Welland, Ontario.
The transportation tasks included:
- Review of existing conditions
- Review proposed development
- Review background traffic growth to horizon year (2031)
- Review impact of Northwest Welland Secondary Plan on existing road network in terms of generated traffic, examining ability of road network to accommodate future background traffic growth in addition to generated traffic
- Recommend any improvements required to accommodate the additional traffic.
