The University of Saskatchewan is internationally renowned for agricultural research. Its newest initiative is one of the world’s most advanced livestock research facilities.
The Livestock and Forage Centre of Excellence (LFCE) amalgamates three separate off campus research facilities into one location with researchers from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, College of Agriculture, College of Engineering, and the Western Beef Development Centre. Associated Engineering addressed the requirements of a diverse group of stakeholders to deliver this technically advanced facility. The LFCE will expand the global knowledge of sustainable supply of meat products, enhancing the province’s reputation as world leaders in agricultural research.
