Located in south Edmonton on the old Heritage Mall site, Century Park is a mixed use urban village that will anchor the South LRT extension, completed in 2010.
Century Park will feature 2,800 residential units on a 43 acre site with 160,000 sf of commercial space, 200,000 sf of office space, and 35,000 sf of indoor amenity recreation area.
With most parking underground, 42% of the site area is reserved for parks and open spaces. The development will provide pedestrian amenities, public art and recreation opportunities along with excellent access to Edmonton’s downtown core via the LRT extension.
Our planners were responsible for preparing custom zoning and plan amendments for the project. The project received an Award of Merit from the Alberta Association Canadian Institute of Planners in 2005.
