Associated Engineering, through our Alternate Delivery Company (Brybil), teamed with the Ledcor-Haisla Limited Partnership to design and construct three bridges on the new heavy haul road at the LNG Canada plant site near Kitimat, BC.
The three bridges were required to be designed to support heavy self-propelled modular transport (SMPT) vehicles, transporting heavy plant-site modules arriving by ships. The weight of the SMPT vehicles was up to 1,348 tonnes with 48 tonne axle loads.

Client
Ledcor Group

Project Highlights
The three structures designed and built included the Anderson Creek Bridge, Moore Creek Bridge, and the Beaver Creek Culvert.
