The condition assessments included review of the bridge’s history, detailed visual inspection and materials testing, and load evaluation. The preliminary rehabilitation strategies included the review of controlling factors such as structural condition, roadway alignment and drainage, environmental issues, traffic staging, public engagement with local businesses including CN Rail, and utility coordination.
