The City of St. Albert retained Associated Engineering and McElhanney, along with Thurber, ENC Testing, ACI, and Trace to complete the Ray Gibbon Drive improvements. These improvements were broken down into three phases (2, 3, and 4).
Associated Engineering’s scope of work included preliminary design of a rail bridge grade separation, a new pedestrian bridge, and a second bridge over the Sturgeon River. The bridge over the Sturgeon River was advance to detailed design and construction. In addition to the major work that included the design and construction services for the twinning of Ray Gibbon Drive over Sturgeon River, we also completed drainage, electrical and environmental scopes for the project.
