Associated completed a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment for the Town of Lumsden, SK.
The work included an evaluation of current and historic landfill operations and how it may have impacted groundwater in the local environment. The project team characterized the groundwater and soil characteristics sufficiently to aid in developing best management practices for on-going environmental protection and monitoring. Once a desktop review of existing information was conducted, a drilling and monitoring plan was established and implemented, and a new 5 year permit to operate was issued by the provincial government.
